1. General

013 Poppodium is the premier venue for pop and dance culture in the broadest sense of the word. We organize live concerts, dance and club nights, festivals, and non-musical programming. 013 Poppodium is and feels responsible for the personal data that has been entrusted to us with confidence and a sense of security. 013 Poppodium emphasizes the importance of strong privacy protection. We understand that everyone has the right to careful handling of their personal data. Therefore, 013 Poppodium treats the personal data of its visitors, employees, and associates with integrity, transparency, and care, ensuring they maintain a safe and secure feeling.

This Privacy Statement describes how 013 Poppodium processes the personal data of the following Data Subjects: visitors of the website, visitors of 013 Poppodium events, as well as (potential) customers/visitors, applicants, business partners, suppliers, and intermediaries.

2.1 Personal data refers to information about an identified or identifiable natural person, such as a visitor to an event at 013 Poppodium. 013 Poppodium may process the following data from Data Subjects:

vi. Information obtained via cookies regarding the Data Subject's browsing behavior;

2.2 013 Poppodium collects personal data from a Data Subject in the following way(s):

i. When the respective Data Subject has provided this personal data to 013 Poppodium via the Website;

ii. By contacting us with a request for information about the services or products of 013 Poppodium;

iii. By placing an order (online or offline) with 013 Poppodium; or

2.3 The Data Subject is never obligated to provide personal data. However, if the Data Subject refuses to provide their personal data, 013 Poppodium may be unable to provide its services to the Data Subject.

4. Minors

4.1 In some cases, Poppodium 013 asks for consent to use certain personal data. If the Data Subject is under 16 years old, they will need permission from their parent(s) or guardian to provide personal data to Poppodium 013. In such cases, the parent(s) or guardian can also modify or delete the data provided to Poppodium 013.

Parties to whom personal data is provided are themselves responsible for complying with privacy legislation. Poppodium 013 is neither responsible nor liable for the processing of your personal data by these parties.

6.1 Poppodium 013 uses so-called 'cookies.' 7.2 The Data Subject can request Poppodium 013 to limit processing and data portability. This means that the Data Subject has the right to receive the personal data that Poppodium 013 holds about them in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format and to have it transmitted by Poppodium 013 to another Data Controller, if applicable.

7.6 013 Poppodium ensures appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect personal data against, among other things, loss, destruction or damage, unauthorized access, or any other form of unlawful processing. This includes taking physical and organizational access control measures, protecting every desktop with a username and password, and authorization management so that your data is not accessible to all employees of 013 Poppodium. Keeping software up to date and regularly testing our security measures are also part of this.

8. Retention Period

8.1 Poppodium 013 retains personal data of Data Subjects who have attended a Poppodium 013 event or to whom other services of Poppodium 013 have been provided for a period of 4 years, unless the Controller is legally required to retain personal data for a longer period. Applicant data is used for up to 4 weeks after the end of the application process or longer if we have received permission from you to do so.

8.2 After the retention period has expired, your personal data will be anonymised or deleted. Applicant data is used for up to 4 weeks after the end of the application process or longer if we have received permission from you to do so.

9. Changes to this Privacy Statement

9.1 The Controller reserves the right to amend this Privacy Statement. The Controller will announce this change in accordance with the law. Any amendment will be announced on this page, and a clear notification will be sent via email in the event of a substantial change to the Privacy Statement. The Controller advises the Data Subject to regularly check this page for any updates.

9.2 If the Data Subject continues to use the Website and/or services of Poppodium 013 once the changes take effect, it means that the Data Subject accepts the changes. If the Data Subject does not agree with these changes, they should discontinue using the Website and/or services.
