Tunnidge The longest running dubstep night on the European mainland soldiers on! For this, the 23rd edition, we have invited TUNNIDGE over from the UK. Making waves since 2007, this guy has dropped some of the biggest dancefloor monsters in recent years according to us. His recent jam on Mala’s Deep Medi Musik has been in heavy rotation since the white labels found their way to the record bags of Mala (of course..), Kromestar and basicly all the dubstep deejays out there that matter. Besides that, Tunnidge is also the guy that does the drawings on the Deep Medi recordlabels! Monodeer This dude drags you in quickly and smothers you quietly in its’ intoxicatingly suffocating atmosphere. Far from being one dimensional, Monodeer’s sound leaks lo-fi charm corrupted with its own dark innards taking influence from noise music and a definite doom-esque thing. This is cool chip music, created with a couple of Gameboys, but definitely with a real dubstep sound! The weird bit wobbles, combined with hard hitting beats, will let you hear how computer game kids see dubstep in the ’11. Cintasoul A new sound from the TRIGGA neighbourhood… Cintasoul blends skweee and broken beats á la Flying Lotus, Jameszoo and Nosaj Thing with modern dubstep and electronica. Cinta has been playing at Cul D‘electro and will make his debut at Trigga today. He also produces his own tracks. Of course the trusted TRIGGA residents DMDN and Ghosryda will glue everything together with a selection of recent and not so recent dubstep jams that make the bassbins wobble..
